Step by Step unescorted walks offer a relaxing and tranquil quality
that are so popular with many walkers.
The freedom provided by the walks means that you dictate pace,
direction, start and finish.
When selecting your unescorted walk, the choice is entirely your own

although Step by Step will be on hand to help if required.

Unescorted walkers enjoy the same high standards of half-board or
bed and breakfast accommodation
and free use of the leisure centre. In addition, Step by Step offers
practical assistance in
the form of a FREE ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP together with a published
guide to the Island's
trails and paths. Packed lunches are available on request.
Transport is provided at the start of our classic walks (minimum of
4 walkers) and we will
also provide a copy of the comprehensive local transport timetables,
covering buses and trains.
PEACE AND
SOLITUDE
Peace and
solitude are qualities that feature highly for many walkers and the
flexibility and
independence of our unescorted walks aim to fulfil this.
It is not our policy to dictate pace or direction. When selecting a
route the choice is entirely your own.
Route ideas are available for local, linear, circular, coastal and
inland walks.
The emphasis is on absorbing all the Island's natural beauty and
spectacular scenery and
enjoying the thatch and stone of many of its buildings.
