Compact and beautiful, the Isle of Wight is one of Europe's best-kept secrets, combining well-maintained and alluring footpaths and tracks with some of Britain's most magnificent views. Nowhere else in Britain can you experience such a diversity of scenery and stunning views in an area as compact as the Isle of Wight.
A walker's paradise, the Island boasts more footpaths per square mile than any other part of the country. The paths and trails are maintained in good order too! The mild climate of the Isle of Wight means that walking holidays can be enjoyed at virtually any time during the year. The stunning views change with the passing seasons.
There is a regular train service from most parts of the country, including London Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour with connecting Wightlink Fast Car to Ryde Pier Head. From here the Islandline takes you to Shanklin Station.
